At the beginning of 2020 we took the opportunity to create a vision of paradise in the woods that surround the Bunkhouse, and here ‘The Bell Tent in the Woods’ was born. The idea was to create a serene glamping experience in the woods with the feeling of being secluded and immersed in nature whilst still being near enough to civilisation to explore the area. 

The Bell Tent has everything you need for an isolated getaway in rural Northumberland. There is a covered outdoor firepit area where wild cooking over the flames is encouraged, we have also provided 2 gas burners to make life a little quicker and easier.. The tent itself sits on a large decking made entirely with reclaimed wood, and a short path leads you to the hot gas-powered shower and compost loo. Inside the tent there is a king-size bed with luxury bedding famed for its comfort, there is a small multi-fuel stove that is very effective at warming the tent in the cooler months, and all of the crockery and cooking devices you will need. 

In the reception area next to the Bunkhouse, about 30 meters from the tent, you can take advantage of charging points, the microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer and washing up facilities.
